Batch numbers are used for a set of recipe groups RCPX. The easiest way to explain this is for a box of pralines. Example. A box contains 16 pralines. 4 each of 4 different pralines. Each praline is a RCPX (recipe group). This box can be assigned a batch nr that you can use to later pull up the exact box again. This is useful for tracking and is used for food safety and/or recurring orders.
