Quite a very good program with a lot of features.
Is it possible to get a translation file where translation could be done for other languages?
And that a localization could be possible (comma instead of dot for decaimal separator)?
Is it possible to store the database on a NAS or in a cloud?
Which kind of db are you using?
When I do an export of the ingridiens to excel and import them again will this overwrite the existing one?

Ok, I’ll try to answer your questions.
There is no support for translations yet. The main problem is not the actual translation but that a lot of the dialog-boxes are designed for English.
To support other languages the design needs to assign more space for each word/sentence to allow for different text-lengths in other languages.
I do have translations on my todo-list but I can’t say when/if it will be supported.
I probably will not change localization from dot to comma for example, sorry.
The online standard database is a MySql database but the local user database is just a serialized XML file of the ingredients called “user.db” located in the folder C:\ProgramData\Ice Cream Calculator\.
At the moment you can not specify where the user database is stored but that would be an easy fix if you think that would be useful?
I’m not sure about storing the user DB in the cloud (I don’t have any experience working towards the cloud). The user DB is just one single file.
If you export to Excel and then import them again you will get duplicates of the ingredients, no ingredients are overwritten when importing from Excel.

Anybody else having a problems with old saved recipes?
When I open saved recipe, there is some ingredients (added by myself in DB) three times in list, replacing another one.
If I go to check recipe in notepad, there is all good.

I wonder if someone already pointed this out. Is it possible to make the balance tool take the evaporation into consideration? I mean the loss of water etc.

it looks like the installer is a 32 bit application? If both the installer and the actual executable could compiled as a 64 bit application, it could work straight on a Mac (wine) and it wouldn’t run through the 32 bit emulator on 64 bit Windows. I am happy to write instructions and test it if you have a version.

I’m using InnoSetup 6.0.4 for the installation. The executable is a .NET framework app and NOT a .NET CORE app. Compiled with AnyCPU but with Prefer32 bit in the build settings.
I have to check if the InnoSetup can generate 64bit installer or I have to look for another installer probably.
I can uncheck the prefer32 bit if that is a problem?

I know that some Virus programs can check the software and then after a while they will approve it.
You have to contact Symantec about that.
