This post describes how PAC and POD is calculated for a single ingredient.
And in the calculator we always define PAC and POD for the full ingredient weight.

the Pac and POD should be proportional to total recipe volume Or to the exact water content
as total recipe volume is 1000 g inclusion 100 g sucrose = pac 100
for the 900 g it is not only water it is a mix of smnf + powders + water

kindly clarify

The PAC normalized is the PAC in relation to the water content of the recipe.

Not sure I understand what you mean but Dextrose is actually Dextrose Monohydrate and contains 8%-9% bound water.
So, 190*0.92=174.8
The PAC and POD in ICC are for the full ingredient not only the dry weight.

One question: I noticed that the software calculates the PAC of, for example, dextrose in a recipe, by multiplying the total amount of dextrose by 1.72 instead of multiplying the amount of “sugar” (92%) in the dextrose. Is that the right approach?
